Founded in 2020 by Seniors Class of ’24, Tess McGinley, Giselle Kimball, and Irene Macri, the Lehigh University Women’s Wrestling Club has quickly become a trailblazer in the rapidly expanding sport of Women’s Wrestling. As the fastest-growing sport in the US, women’s wrestling has seen tremendous growth, with over 160+ universities now offering programs.
Lehigh University is ambitiously aiming to become the fifth Division 1 Varsity Team in the country by 2026, coinciding with the NCAA’s inaugural sanctioning of a Women’s Wrestling National Championship.
